Last month, I made my way over to Germany for the first time to visit Hamburg and Berlin. The trip was so fun and I have to say that those two cities made me feel like Germany is the hippest place ever! Mainly because both cities were pretty much COVERED in graffiti, like everywhere. It was insane, but I absolutely loved it! The vibes were so laid back in both cities and the locals were all so friendly and cool. I was a little nervous about the potential language barriers since I don’t know a lick of German, but luckily everyone there was able to quickly switch to english once they noticed the slight confusion and panic come accross my face when I was greeted in German. It also didn’t hurt that my amazing travel buddy was a German speaker so she was able to help me translate menus and signs.

Non – stop eating, drinking and shopping ensued on this trip and I thoroughly enjoyed every single moment of it! My absolute favorite stores that I bought a few stunning items were called Kauf Dich Glucklich and fraulein wunder, both in Hamburg. and I had a meal of a lifetime at Gefundenes Fressen. In Berlin, I got to experience the poshest tea time at the Hotel Adlon Kempinski and also got to see the Berlin Wall which was so amazing and beautiful.

I highly recommend anyone who hasn’t visited these two cities to put them on their travel list asap. It is definitely worth the trip and hope my pictures will help convince you even more! xo
