3 Blush Colors For Dark Skin
If you have ever thought that you could not get away with wearing blush as a girl with a dark skin tone, then this post is for you! For the longest time, I never thought I could find a blush color that would compliment me and not look super fake, but over time I slowly discovered some amazing colors that a few YouTube beauty gurus were rocking and was proven wrong. I don’t have a massive makeup collection, so the few items I own, I love and use over and over again. I currently have exactly three blush colors in my collection and thought I would share for any of you who have a similar skin tone to mine and just don’t know where to start!
This one might look a little crazy because of how bright it is but it is one of my favorite blushes ever! I was convinced by a Nars makeup artist to give it a try and I have to say this color on dark skin tone is absolutely divine. It adds the perfect amount of warmth and color to the skin that is just so pretty. It is definitely one to not go overboard on, so just a light application does the trick, which means that it lasts for a very long time. I love wearing it during the spring time since it is a bit brighter toned than some of my other blushes. It is one of my newer blushes and will certainly continue to be a staple in my makeup collection!
2. Mac Raizin:
This blush is actually the first blush I ever bought and it remains my go to for everyday. It also compliments dark skin tone beautifully and adds just the right amount of color without looking unnatural or weird. I highly recommend this one as a starter blush if you are just starting your collection because I find it works in all seasons.
This is a staple in my collection because it is a shimmering blush. It gives a little bit of a highlighting effect that is super subtle. I love wearing this one on days when I don’t want to wear a lot of makeup but want to add a little bit of aliveness to my face. I even sometimes layer this on top of my Mac Raizin for a more glam look. A great choice if you want something different and girly!
